JUDY MOWATT was born in Industry Village, Gordon Town, St. Andrew Jamaica, some forty-five years ago. Her family was poor and although no one went hungry, they could not afford a radio in the house. As a child, singing came as naturally to her as breathing and she was always 'singled-out' for solo spots with church choirs. 1987 ‘Love Is Overdue’ - Album ‘Look at Love’ - Album done on the Shanachie label, New Jersey. 1993 ‘Rock Me’ - Album, distributed by Pow Wow Records in New York. 1995 ‘Love’ - Album was her very first gospel album recorded since her conversion to Christianity. 2000 ‘Soldiers of Jesus Christ’ - Compilation (This album is a double CD compilation of some of those artistes who became Christians during a recent wave of mass conversion in Jamaica and includes - Junior Tucker, Judy Mowatt, Lady Junie, Carlene Davis, Chevelle Franklin, Papa San Lt.
